Kat Edmunds serves as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator at Stepping Stones Church, where she oversees programs for children from birth through 5th grade.
Married to McKade and a proud mom of two beautiful children, Kat brings both personal experience as a parent and professional expertise from her years in childcare. With a background as an EMT, she is passionate about creating a safe and joyful environment where kids can discover who Jesus is.
Kat’s greatest joy is seeing children excited about God’s Word while knowing they are loved, cared for, and welcomed as part of God’s family.

Engaging & Age-Appropriate Learning
Stepping Stones Kids is designed to engage your children at every age and stage of their spiritual journey. We offer fun, interactive, and creative lessons that bring the Bible to life, tailored to each age group!

Check-In Process
We want your first visit to be as smooth as possible. When you arrive, simply head to our check-in area, where our friendly volunteers will help you register your child. You’ll receive a unique tag for secure pick-up after service.
Age Groups

We strongly believe spiritual training of our children should begin the minute they are born. During Life Groups and Worship Hour we teach our youngest children simple biblical truths and then reinforce these concepts while they play. Our teachers are screened but most importantly have a deep love for Jesus and are crazy about children.

Just like Jesus used objects like coins, fish, and plants to teach, our teachers use everyday objects and fun activities to teach Bible truths. During the Life Group Hour kids study the same Bible passage the parents are studying, making for good conversations at home.

Pastor Jeff connects with children and their families both before, during and after the Worship Service. There are Children’s Bulletins with activities that supplement the sermon. Family Worship is every first Sunday with Super Church offered the remaining Sundays.
