Sunday Mornings at 9:15 a.m.
We meet on Sunday mornings to learn the basics of the faith, answer tough questions,
and figure out the best ways to live our faith boldly, as well as grow the entire
youth group into a tight-knit community. We've been there, and we know it can
be tough to live for Jesus. That's why we strive to make Sunday mornings a fun,
safe, and welcoming place for youth to be honest and real with their questions
and struggles while learning God's way to be victorious.

Bible teacher, Jim Barringer, is a trained and licensed teacher who left the public
schools to bring Christ's message to youth.
Wednesday Evenings at 6:45 p.m.
After half a week of school, there's no better place to come and chill out
than the Stepping Stones youth group. We start Wednesday evenings with hilarious
icebreakers or drama games as a community-building exercise, and then have hard-hitting
discussion and Bible teaching about big issues from our world today. It's always
fun and always informative.
Second Saturday of each month at 9:30 a.m.
We always participate in the church's Second Saturday Outreach events. Outreach
is a great chance to put your faith into practice in the real world by hanging
door hangers, passing out water bottles at the park, or being trained in evangelism
-- all with the other youth there to back you up and encourage you. It can be
scary to tell strangers about Jesus, but we work as a community to lift each other
up and make sure no one gets intimidated. We're reaching McKinney and the world
for Christ!
Other Events
The youth group will typically have several events in any given month, and
the youth and parents are usually kept up-to-date via email. If you'd like to
be added to the list so you can see what we're up to, please contact jim(AT)steppingstoneschurch.org,
being sure to replace the (AT) with an actual @ sign. For other questions, you
can call (972) 548-1300.
