Praise the Lord! We are off to a good start in birthing Stepping Stones Church Planting Church. In the last few months, nine highly committed families have been added to the first church. These folks truly are “special forces” Christians who see themselves as ministers and missionaries.

Additionally, with God’s help we have pulled off a large egg drop outreach into the North Frisco Area. We thought we would have 300 to 500 people show up. The Lord had another plan. Almost 2000 people showed up. We fed them hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, etc. andmost importantly gave the gospel verbally and in written form. We continue to go from business to business and house to house with the gospel of Jesus Christ. To date we have had 18 people profess faith in Jesus Christ. In June two evangelistic park parties were pulled off. We had about 70 at the first and 50 at the second. I think the extreme heat kept many away. Regardless, we gave all the gospel and love of Christ.

Over the last several months I have spent dozens of hours meeting with prospective Stepping Stones church planting pastors. These godly men and their families will be needed to shepherd the seven new churches we are starting. Please pray for Christ to make His appointments regarding these men.

In July, my beautiful wife Angela and her team pulled off a Pure Energy music and drama camp. There were 19 children who attended. A Buddhist family and a Morman family brought their kids to the camp. Two of the Morman kids indicated they were receiving Christ. Praise the Lord! The next day we had a worship hour attendance of 116 and the kids performed gospel songs.

Between now and the end of the year our primary focus will be evangelizing the North Frisco area. We need to see the core formed for birthing our second Stepping Stones Church in North Frisco. We need to see God raise up the specific pastor to shepherd this new flock. With Christ’s help we will be sending the new work and its pastor out by the end of 2011.  We then need to start on the next targeted area with our evangelistic efforts.

Please pray, pray, and pray some more that the Lord of the harvest will send us laborers to accomplish this most holy task. Please pray for the Lord’s financial provision.
